Morgans Mobile Meals

Hi, my name is Morgan and I am raising money to buy food to feed homeless people.  After we have enough money to buy the food my mom is going to drive me around to feed poeple that are hungry.  I will write about it here.  I will also write about my family and other stuff to.

A Message from Mom:

Morgan has been driven to serve those in need around her in her community from a very young age.  She never missed an opportunity to show how much she cared for the homeless in the community, whether it was to hand them change from in the car, her own allowance money and even the food she was snacking on during the ride.

Her care and devotion comes from within her own heart in spite of the numerous comments adults utter about the circumstances of these homeless individuals.  She is blessed with eyes that don’t see the why, only the how can she help.

Morgan’s Mobile Meals was inspired by her desire to drive around the community and provide food to everyone standing out there with a sign.  She packed Top Ramen bags and bottles of water in a box in our car so she would have it ready to give when she saw someone expressing their hunger.  This often fell short, either because we wouldn’t pass by anyone, or we would forget the box at home.

Morgan’s determination has continued, and mom and dad have decided that she really knows what she wants.  The best we can do for her is to guide her to safely feed the homeless in the community, and Morgan’s Mobile Meals was born.

We are still in the early phases, still gathering the supplies we need to provide food and Morgan’s enthusiasm is growing as we prepare for our first yard sale, fully intending to use that money to get started.
